A wonderful private family in Admirals Cove is seeking two polished, hospitality-driven Yacht Stews looking to transition into a long-term land-based role within a new set-up, fully staffed luxury residence. This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced yachting professionals who wish to bring their white glove standards, discretion, organization, and service mindset ashore while continuing to work within a fast-paced, high-level private service environment.
This is a fully staffed residence with a strong, newly established team already in place, including an Executive Housekeeper overseeing the interior operation. The home operates very much with a “guest-ready at all times” mentality, similar to that of a luxury yacht, making this an ideal fit for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy being part of a professional team, and take genuine pride in maintaining impeccable standards throughout the residence.
Candidates must be physically active, comfortable with extensive walking on a large property, and understand true “ghost-level” service — seeing everything while remaining discreet and unobtrusive.
This is a national search, and relocation to Florida is available for qualified candidates looking to transition shoreside long-term.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the residence to impeccable, guest-ready standards at all times
- Work comfortably under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper within a fully staffed environment
- Detailed housekeeping including cleaning, organizing, fine surface care, and overall presentation of the home
- Laundry and wardrobe care including steaming, ironing, folding, closet organization, packing, and unpacking
- Guest suite preparation and turnovers with attention to detailed guest preferences and presentation
- Assist with kitchen support, tray service, table setting, light meal preparation, flowers, and formal/informal service as needed
- Inventory monitoring and household supply management
- Assist with errands and additional household support responsibilities as needed
- Communicate clearly and professionally with household staff through shared systems, apps, text, and email
- Assist with maintaining extensive wardrobes and closets to a high standard
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Yacht Stew, Chief Stew, or within luxury hospitality/private service strongly preferred
- Looking for a long-term shoreside opportunity within a private residence
- Service-minded with strong attention to detail and presentation
- Positive, proactive, adaptable, and genuinely team-oriented
- Comfortable within a fully staffed formal home environment
- Discreet, polished, and respectful of privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Strong command of English both verbally and written
- Physically fit and comfortable supporting a large estate
- Comfortable with flexibility in scheduling and occasional seasonal demands
- Valid driver’s license preferred

- Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility during season and occasional weekend or holiday coverage as needed
