A wonderful informal couple in Ponte Vedra, Jacksonville, Florida is looking to hire a property/manager to manage their primary residence, which is 5,000 sq. ft, and their parents' property, which is 3,400 sq. ft. The properties are next door to each other. The in-laws are in good health, their respective ages 82 and 88.
The responsibilities of the property/manager will be to manage the daily operations of both properties. The duties include managing vendors, sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and scheduling all support personnel. Both properties need updating and require maintenance as they are oceanfront. They require someone proactive versus reactive, can self-manage, enjoy being part of a team where the principles are easygoing, and have an informal approach.
The couple is looking for someone willing to run errands, change lightbulbs, help the housekeeper if she needs help lifting something heavy, and be a team player. The role sometimes requires errand running, driving the senior couple to appointments, shopping, donating items, and organizing both properties.
Ideally, our clients would like to find someone who can prep food and leave it for the client to assemble when she gets home from work. The family has a small dog, and it would require walking.
The ideal candidate will have administrative skills, be detailed, and be highly organized. When the family travels, the role requires someone to watch the family's properties.
Benefits $62,000-$65,000
