Chef/Cook, Columbus, Atlanta, GA - PLACED
A wonderful senior couple in their 60’s is looking for a live-in chef or couple to support their primary home, a functioning ranch in Columbus, GA, an hour outside of Atlanta. The couple has another residence in Atlanta, and a private yacht. The chef will only be responsible for F&B service at the couple’s Columbus and Atlanta residences.
Their home is in Columbus, Georgia, an hour outside of Atlanta. The farm is a fully functioning staffed farm with livestock, a chef’s dream garden, and stocked wild game. There is a beautifully appointed cabin on the ranch. When the chef is needed in Atlanta, the family provides hotel accommodation.
The family is well-traveled and has a diverse palate, ranging from family-style fare: fried chicken, okra, corn casserole, and Asian fusion. The chef must also be comfortable preparing wild game, including venison and quail amounts other game available on their ranch.
The position is five days a week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility.
Responsibilities
- All F& B service
- Stocking residences kitchen and pantries
- Inventory management
- All aspects of hygiene
- Food preparation and service for small informal groups
- Must be detailed and creative
When guests visit, they stay at one of the self-contained cabins on the ranch.
A hands-on chef would be ideal, willing to lend a hand, get involved in the farm, and share their knowledge to improve standards and efficiency.
- Immediate start for skilled candidates.
- Possible relocation for out-of-state experienced chefs.
- A skilled couple would be welcomed.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience working as a private chef.
- Must pass a detailed background check, have a clean current driving license.
- Must be vaccinated.
- Must have an accredited culinary degree or equivalent.
- Candidates must have a history of successful employment to be considered and have verifiable employer references.

$80,000 to $110,000
