Hebrew speaking teacher/tutor for four children - Must be confident teaching ages 12-18. AP certified a plus.
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced local NY educator to provide one-on-one tutoring for our client's four siblings. The tutor will be responsible for creating lesson plans, conducting tutoring sessions, and tracking progress for each child separately. The kids are 10, 12, 14 and 15. The family live in Manhattan at Central Park Tower, from May to August. The ideal candidate will be able to facilitate teaching while the children are in NY, or possibly travel with the family for short periods.
The family would welcome a professional who can suggest other advanced programs. There is the opportunity of full-time employment for a highly-skilled, cultural, and resourceful candidate.
Responsibilities:

Develop individualized lesson plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student.

Teach advanced-level content in various subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, History, and Foreign Languages.

Provide additional support for test preparation, study skills, and time management.

Administer practice exams and assessments to measure student progress and adjust teaching accordingly.

Communicate regularly with parents about their children's progress and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with teachers and other educators to ensure a consistent learning experience.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in education, the subject area, or a related field.
- Must be able to speak Hebrew.
- Knowledge of Israel and it's culture highly desireable.

A proven track record of success in teaching advanced-level courses.

Strong knowledge of the AP curriculum and testing procedures.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Ability to develop strong relationships with students and families.

Flexibility and adaptability to adjust lesson plans and strategies to meet the needs of each child.
- Special needs experienced highly desireable ADHD/ADD
