Job Title: Personal Assistant / House Manager
Location: Downtown Aspen (6,500 Sq Ft Residence)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Personal Assistant / House Manager with 7+ years of experience to work alongside the current Property Manager in maintaining a 6,500 Sq Ft urban property located in Downtown Aspen. The clients typically reside in the property for only one month of the year, so the role will require someone adept at managing both long-term care and short-term needs of the home. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the household, providing personal assistance, and assist in maintaining the property when it is not in use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Property Manager to maintain and oversee the operations of the residence, ensuring everything is in top condition.
- Manage and coordinate household staff, ensuring efficiency and smooth daily operations.
- Handle grocery shopping and pantry stocking, ensuring all essentials are available and well-organized.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including tidying up, cleaning out the fridge after visits, and restocking household essentials.
- Manage all packages and mail, including receiving, organizing, and handling deliveries.
- Assist with event preparation, such as:
- Setting up tablescapes
- Arranging flowers
- Preparing charcuterie boards
- Wrapping presents (e.g., holiday gifts)
- Provide personal shopping assistance for clothing, gifts, and specialty items.
- Coordinate with vendors, overseeing work on-site and ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Schedule and manage personal appointments (spa, wellness, medical, hair, etc.).
- Manage pet care, including feeding, scheduling vet appointments, grooming, and dog walking services as necessary.
- Support travel logistics and arrangements for the principal, ensuring a smooth and seamless process.
- Maintain and prepare the property for the principal’s arrival, ensuring everything is in excellent condition for their stay.
Qualifications:
- Local candidates only
- 7+ years of experience as a personal assistant, household manager, or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other household staff and vendors.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to managing tasks.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Comfortable working with flexible hours and managing a dynamic schedule.
- Experience managing urban properties and coordinating with vendors and staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
