Part-Time Nanny/Companion - Upper East Side, New York.
We are searching for a warm, intelligent, energetic part-time caregiver for a bright and active 9-year-old who lost her mother four years ago. This job is primarly for the weekends (Friday through Sunday, with weekend flexibility and occasional overnight stays).
Potential additional hours during the week, after 3pm. Our ideal candidate would be someone who can be there for school pickups/drop-offs, travel to (and cheer at!) sporting events, manage extra-curricular activities, play dates, homework, doctor’s appointments, pack for travel, meal prep, and maintain and monitor connections with friends and relatives.
We are looking for a caregiver who enjoys living an active lifestyle, playing sports, and is athletic.
Clear communication between the family corporate office is essential, making everyone aware of any changes in the family’s day, but also making key family members apprised of any changes with the child's schedule.
The position is in New York, Upper East Side.
Salary: $40 - $50/hour, equating to a minumum salary per year of $52,000 ++ yearly
Schedule: Guaranteed 25-30 hours/week, Friday - Sunday, weekend flexibility/overnight stay at times. All additional hours paid extra.
Requirements:
- Must be formally educated with a college degree.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a detailed criminal background check.
- Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a nanny, caregiver, companion, or other role with related experience.
