Overnight Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) _ Los Angeles, CA - PLACED

We are seeking a certified and experienced newborn caregiver for our client in Los Angeles, CA. - Local Candidates Preferred 

This will be an in-home, overnight position, with the potential to shift into a full-time caregiver/nanny role.

Russian or Ukranian speaking is a plus.

NCS Responsibilities: 

• Identifying signs of illness or infection and referring parents to a healthcare provider if further treatment is needed
• Assisting with bathing, changing diapers, feeding, and providing other basic care to ensure the baby is comfortable and healthy
• Collecting and recording detailed information about the baby’s health status, feeding patterns, sleeping habits, development milestones, and other important information
• Recording vital signs such as weight, height, head circumference, and temperature
• Helping parents learn methods of caring for their newborn, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and playing with the baby
• Educating parents about child development and responding to their concerns about their child’s growth and development
• Providing physical comfort to children who are frightened or in pain by holding them or hugging them

Salary

$45 - $55 hourly

3-4 month term with the potential go move into a full-time nanny position.
