Nanny/House Manager
Our clients currently live in Buckhead, but plan to move to Milton in the Spring of 2022. They are looking for someone who will act as house manager, nanny and cook. The family has two small children, with a third on the way. An ideal candidate would also serve as housekeeper to take care of the day-to-day tasks around the house. They are interested in developing a long-term relationship and hope to find somebody whom they could eventually consider an extension of their family. Ideally, the candidate would live between the two locations and/or closer to Milton and won’t mind a commute until the family is permanently relocated there.
Typical hours would range from 20-40/week, split between the following responsibilities:
Childcare Schedule (Nanny role):
-Varying schedule
-Weekdays after school, occasional weekday evenings, occasional weekend days/nights
-Schedule to be given ahead of time, though some last-minute needs may come up
-Loving and caring (no spanking, no timeouts- acknowledge children’s feelings and redirect instead. Kind but firm discipline)
-Second language a plus (kids will have limited Spanish classes in school)
Weekly house duties (Housekeeper role):
-Laundry: sheets, towels, and children’s clothes (no adult laundry) weekly.
-Dishes daily
-Day to day tidying up/decluttering/organizing
-Light food prep / grocery runs.
Other requirements:
-Background check and references check
-CPR/Choking certification
-Proof of complete Covid vaccination (and belief in masks and science in general)
-Modern, safe car, with clean driving record (able to transport children in their car with proper car seats that we provide; or drive one of our cars)
-Valid passport
Pay:
-Salary $100,000-150,000/year
-3 sick days/year
-10 vacation days/year
