Position Overview
A warm, energetic, and fast-paced family in Tampa is seeking two experienced Rotational Nannies or Governesses to provide exceptional care and developmental support for three young children, ages 4, 3, and 1.
The mother is highly involved, hands-on, and values a collaborative approach. She is youthful, engaged, and intentional in her parenting style, with a strong focus on fostering independence, critical thinking, respect, and age-appropriate responsibility. This is a dynamic household that values structure, positivity, and proactive engagement.
This is an ideal role for a confident, professional nanny or governess who thrives in an active environment and enjoys partnering with parents to support children’s emotional, cognitive, and social development.
Schedule & Living Arrangements

Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off - Flexability with scheduling essential

Live-in during rotation with a private bedroom and private bathroom

Seamless handoff and communication between rotational counterparts is essential
Key Responsibilities

Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for all three children

Support independence, critical thinking, and respectful behavior

Engage children in interactive, educational, and imaginative play

Assist with daily routines including meals, naps, hygiene, and bedtime

Support potty training and sleep routines as developmentally appropriate

Maintain children’s spaces (bedrooms, playrooms, closets)

Collaborate closely with the mother and household team

Encourage structure, boundaries, and consistency

Travel support may be requested on occasion
Ideal Candidate Profile

Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny or governess experience with similar age groups
-
Confident, energetic, and emotionally intuitive
-
Comfortable working alongside a very hands-on parent

Strong understanding of early childhood development

Calm, respectful, and solutions-oriented

Excellent communication and handover skills between rotations

Local Tampa-based candidates preferred; fly-in/fly-out candidates considered

Background in education, Montessori, or early childhood development is a plus
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $130,000 annually, depending on experience
