Part-time Nanny - Ponte Vedra PLACED

A wonderful couple is in need of an experienced nanny to support the care of their 2 children, a 4 year-old daughter and a 9-month old son. The principals have a 4-bedroom, 2.5 bath home in Ponte Vedra. Both parents work and will be in and out of the home throughout the day.

 

Responsibilties

*assist in pick-up from pre-school

*prepare meals and snacks as needed

*clean the playroom, kitchen, bathroom, and any general areas after the children

*clear all debris, clutter, and tripping/choking hazards from the floors

*engage in learn-through-play exercises

*supervise play and pool time

*take children to playground

*light calendar management- reminders for upcoming appointments, play dates, activities, etc.

*inventory of pantry- snacks, drinks, lunch items for children

*inventory of children’s bathroom- ensuring there are towels, toilet paper, diapers and wipes, shampoos, body washes, and hand soap in stock at all time

*make the children’s beds

*empty laundry from bedroom and bathroom hampers into the washing machine

 

Requirements

*3 days per week (preferably Mon, Wed, Fri – may be flexible), 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

*Salary $20 per hour, 15 hours per week

*a minimum of 5 years private nanny experience

*must pass a criminal background check

*must have a current driver’s license

*must be local to Ponte Vedra

*must have CPR/first aid

*prefer Early Childhood Development degree

*prefer experience with Montessori teaching methods
