Job Title: International Nanny/Caregiver for Children with Travel and 24-Hour Support

Location: New York, NY

Job Description:

Our clients are a New York City-based family seeking a dedicated and experienced nanny to provide exceptional care for 3 highly active teenage children. This role would entail managing all scheduling, including travel logistics, managing passports/visa when traveling and coordinating tutors. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and adaptable nanny/caregiver who can become an integral part of the family. Our referred clients are looking for a highly educated, highly active individual who is worldly, tech savvy, education focused and can travel at a moment’s notice without restrictions.

Currently our client is considering US based candidates only.  Must possess a bachelor’s degree or greater.

Responsibilities:

1. Childcare: Provide nurturing and attentive care for children, ensuring their safety/security, well-being, and emotional development.
2. Educational Support: Engage children in age-appropriate activities and scheduling, help with homework, and foster a love for learning.
3. Travel Support: Be ready to accompany the family on both national and international trips, assisting with travel logistics, caring for the children during travel, and ensuring a seamless transition between hotels and residences.
4. 24-Hour Availability: Be on-call 24/7 to provide support and care as needed, adapting to a dynamic schedule that may require work at any time of day or night.
5. Household Duties: Assist with light household duties related to the children, such as meal preparation, laundry, and packing and unpacking, keeping their spaces tidy while the children are in school/ one in college. Ability to direct staff as part of the team, with a hands-on approach.
6. Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with the parents, keeping them informed about the children's activities, needs, and any concerns.
7. Safety: working with a security team when travelling ensures the children’s safety, always blending in when travelling.
8. Cultural Awareness: Be sensitive to and respectful of diverse backgrounds and cultures, especially during international travel.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a nanny/tutor or childcare provider working with busy teenagers.
• A genuine love for children and a dedication to their well-being.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle travel and irregular hours.
• Strong communication skills and a high degree of professionalism.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel both nationally and internationally.
• Must communicate clearly, be without ego and highly tech savvy.
• Knowledge of travel logistics, including passport and visa requirements.
• Should be able to swim, play tennis and have an interest in sports

Salary range $150k to $200k for highly qualified candidates with outstanding tenure and references

Must be comfortable with pets.

Must have outstanding verifiable references. At least three.

Must have excellent prior tenure and long term intent.

Must pass a detailed criminal background and credit check.
