Full-Charge Nanny

Our client, located in Palo Alto, CA, needs a nanny for her three children, ages 7, 10, and 12-years-old. The mother shares custody of her children, and the nanny is expected to support in administrative tasks, assisting with errands, etc., when the children are with the other parent. The schedule rotates every other week. The timesharing schedule is Wednesday and Thursday one week; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday on alternating weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Full-charge care of the children
• Provide healthy snacks for the children and communicate any nutritional needs to the family’s private chef
• Tidy and organize the children’s spaces
• Inventory and stock all supplies related to the children and their care
• Oversee hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Pack/unpack for the children
• Organize and manage their wardrobes
• Drive the children to school, activities, events, and appointments- always representing the parents well
• Schedule appointments as needed
• Calendar management
• Shopping/errands pertaining to the care of the children
• Travel with the family as needed
• Communicate with the parents daily- daily journal logs for the children would be advantageous
• Communicate and work closely with household support staff 

Details:

• This is a full-time position- flexibility in schedule is required
• Weekend availability is required
• A minimum of 5 years of private nanny experience
• Clear communication skills are required
• Pass a complete background check
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Salary is $150,000 to $200,000 annually; Relocation and full benefits
