Nanny - New York, Upper East Side, and The Hamptons w/ability to travel nationally and internationally.
We are searching for a warm, intelligent, energetic caregiver for a bright, active 9-year-old who lost her mother three years ago. (There is also a gracious, mature 16-year-old boy, but his needs are minimal).
More than a nanny, we hope to find an extraordinary person to fill in for an active, loving soccer mom. Our ideal candidate would be someone who can be there for school pickups/drop-offs, travel to (and cheer at!) sporting events, manage extra-curricular activities, play dates, homework, doctor’s appointments, pack for travel, meal prep, and connections with friends and relatives.
Someone who can manage the two properties would be ideal.
Most importantly, we hope to find someone who can become a wise and caring mentor as she learns to navigate life daily.
The position is in New York, Upper East Side, with some travel (including summers in the Hamptons and European trips). Live in or live out during the school year; either one works. Live-in during travel weeks and in the Hamptons.
*The young girl is learning French, so someone with a French background or who can keep up with the study of French is ideal.
Salary and Benefits:
$130k - $160k D.O.E.
