A lovely family based in Pacific Palisades, CA 90272, is looking to hire a wonderful nanny (live-out) for their nine-month-old son. The family wants to hire somebody with common sense, without ego, and with prior experience (minimum of 5 to 10 years dealing with toddlers.) Must have the ability to travel as needed and work weekends with a 24/7 mentality.
The current schedule is four days on three days off rotational shifts.
The coverage is 24/7. This is a live-out opportunity.
The family travels between their homes in New York, New Jersey, and Los Angeles, so having the flexibility to travel would be essential. The family generally spends three weeks in Los Angeles and one week in New Jersey monthly. They have a 13-year-old son who lives on the East Coast and will visit New York/New Jersey several times yearly. Part of the expectation while visiting the East Coast is to help care for the 13-year-old son.
The family is looking for somebody with a hands-on approach willing to help in this casual, informal environment.
There are existing housekeepers in place, and there are support staff in place. The baby sleeps from 7 PM to 7 AM on a routine, and the mom wants to maintain that routine with some flexibility.
Nothing is set in stone in this household, so I emphasize for the ideal candidate, flexibility is a must. For example, the family travels to France and recently took their current house manager/nanny to an incredible resort in France for three weeks. The family is generous and covers all traveling expenses; you would have your room and private bathroom in a beautiful hotel.
The family needs a nanny as soon as possible, but they are also looking for the right candidate and will take their time to ensure the perfect fit.
The ideal candidate will be well educated, have a current passport, and have the appropriate vaccination certificates to allow them to travel. The family is searching for someone outgoing and friendly with a can-do approach.
The position offers full benefits, medical, dental, etc., at a salary range between 130,000 and 150,000 yearly.
