Location: Near the Faena Hotel on Collins Ave
A discreet, informal, socially visible Russian family with two daughters (7 and 9) is looking for an experienced Nanny to care for their daughters, Tuesday through Saturday, from noon to 8 pm approximately.
Both girls attend school during the day. The nanny would collect the girls from school, prepare a snack and make sure that they attend any play dates or after-school programs.
The ideal nanny will be educated with a college degree or equivalent and assist with homework. Teaching and instilling good manners and etiquette are essential to the parents. Additionally, the nanny will be responsible for preparing a simple evening meal or re-heat food prepared by the full-time housekeeper for the two girls. The family is looking for a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Drive children to appointments
- Manage the children’s calendars
- Simple food preparation
- Safety minded; always aware of the surroundings and at all times the safety of the children
- Assist with homework
- Attend after-school programs
- Act as a surrogate to the children when the parents are not available
- At times, when the parents attend meetings, flexibility would be appreciated
- Assist in maintaining the children’s closets
- Communicate clearly with the parents, updating any changes in the children’s schedules via text
*Must be tech-savvy, communicate clearly, bi-lingual a plus
*Must pass a detailed criminal background check and drug test
*Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a private home and have tenure of employment to be considered
*Have excellent verifiable references
*Clean driving license
* Ability to swim, ideally be first aid certified
Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday
40 Hour week (Noon -8pm)
The use of the family vehicle is available during working hours
Benefits:
Salary $50,000 to $70,000 D/O/E
