Family in LA is looking for a nanny, governess to care for three children.

 

The role is complete oversight of the three children when they are in their father’s custody. There is a 12-year-old boy, 10-year-old girl and a 7-year-old little boy.

Description:

The nanny is responsible for all tasks related to the children. The family are looking for a compassionate nurturing candidate who is approachable, humble, active and understands the security and well-being of the children takes priority at all times.

• Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children
• Calendar management - Supervise children’s activities, play dates and any afterschool sporting events
• Prepare healthy snacks and plan meals
• Make sure that the children have what they need to attend a sporting event, out door activities basic wardrobe management
• Being a team player is important and having clear communication with the Estate Mangar is important
• Support cleaning after meals and maintaining
• Support personal hygiene
• Encourage proper social etiquette and manners
• Introduce new learning activities and support homework, advance their education, assist with application to schools and educational programs
• Share daily updates with the parents – End of day reports
• The nanny is expected to be firm and have strong values (NO hitting or spankings of any kind)
• The nanny will be able to advise the parents when the situation arises, how to mitigate, and suggest solutions to possible behavioral issues
• Driving the children in the family vehicle to scheduled activities only
• The children follow tight schedules, any changes have to be approved by the parents
• When using the family vehicle, gassing and driving the car through a designated wash facility
• Maintain inventories pertaining to the children’s needs – school supplies – updates for phones etc.
• Support travel as needed, supporting packing and unpacking

Collage educated or have a background in child education

Must have excellent verifiable references

Have experience working as a governess or a similar role

Perfect driving record

Must pass a details national and international background screening

Local Californian Candidates preferred

Possible benefits package for qualified candidates

Flexible schedule, possible weekend support if travel is required

Salary $80,000 to $100,000
