Live-in Nanny for a Wonderful Family in New York City
A wonderful family based in NY is looking to hire a nanny who has a minimum of eight years’ experience and must be fluent in English & Spanish.
A highly qualified candidate will be an educated professional, someone who has a fundamental understanding of child development. The family is looking for someone experienced with all ages. A nanny who will see to the emotional, physical, and educational growth of each child. The children are aged 1, 2 & 8 years old. The eldest is at school, so your days will predominately be spent with the younger two.
You must have a creative and imaginative mind and really be able to engage the children. Arrange activities and outings that spike the children’s interests and introduce them to a life of wanting to learn and be curious about the world we live in. A nanny that will create wonderful memories. Teaching manners, social skills and encouraging good behavior will be part of your role.
This is a busy household with children who are very active and on-the-go. To be successful, a candidate needs to be highly organized. The parents are very hands-on and are looking for a nanny who will be very much part of the family. It is a harmonious household, and all staff get on very well with one another, the successful candidate will have a team player mentality and without ego.
The family have additional household staff who take care of the cleaning, laundry, and cooking. However, if the chef is off, you will be expected to prepare healthy meals for the children.
Basis children’s laundry responsibilities, maintaining play areas, wardrobe management for the children and calendar management would be essential skills traits.
This is a live-in position, working Monday to Friday 12 hours a day. Flexibility will be required. Especially when travelling.
Salary is dependent on your education, skills, and experience. $130,000 to $150,000 per annum, with benefits. You will be provided with your own bedroom and bathroom within the family home.
