Live-in Nanny - University Park, Dallas PLACED
A first-time mother is in need of a highly-skilled, compassionate nanny with experience in newborn care and early development. This is a full-time, live-in position. The nanny will have their own room and bathroom in the home. Our client is very laid back, of Indian culture, and this position is very easy going and flexible. The role of the nanny will be to SUPPORT and advise the new mommy as she transitions into her new stage of life. The intention of this role is for the candidate to commit long-term.
Responsibilities include:
*Coaching the client in how to care for the baby
*Demonstrating safe sleep protocol
*Experience in sleep training
*Assist in tidying up nursery, bathroom, and kitchen after any baby care duties
*Understanding breastfeeding support – the mother will have a lactation consultant but would like the additional support if issues arise
*Prefers- but not essential- a nanny that is aligned with and understands Indian culture
She is willing to split the hours during the day and is flexible with the schedule. She is comfortable with the nanny sleeping in her own room at night with the baby monitor.
Requirements:
*At least 3 years’ experience with newborn and infant care
*Employment longevity
*This position is live-in. The nanny will have her own room and bathroom.
*$750 per week to start, basic food provided, no benefits at this time.
