Overview:
An esteemed VVIP family based between Riyadh and Jeddah is seeking an experienced, qualified, and engaging Governess/Nanny to join their dedicated childcare team. This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for a professional who is passionate about child development and education, and who thrives in a structured, supportive, and culturally diverse environment.
You will be responsible for the well-being, growth, and daily care of children ranging in age from 2 to 14 years old, including both boys and girls. Your focus will be on educational enrichment, daily routines, emotional development, and curating stimulating experiences—both at home and while traveling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily routines, ensuring structure, consistency, and emotional support
- Coordinate and implement age-appropriate educational, cultural, and recreational activities
- Oversee the children’s diet and well-being, liaising with household staff as needed
- Organize enriching outings and experiences both locally and internationally
- Provide language support and cultural exposure in French or Spanish (Arabic a plus)
- Travel with the family and independently plan engaging, educational activities in new environments
- Collaborate closely with other nannies, tutors, and household staff in a team-oriented setting
- Maintain accurate communication with parents and uphold the family's values and preferences
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Governess, Nanny, or in a similar childcare/educational role within private households
- Formal childcare qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Teaching (including Montessori), Child Psychology, or equivalent
- Fluency in French or Spanish is essential; Arabic is a plus
- Experience working in VIP or VVIP households is required
- Previous experience working in the Middle East is preferred
- Ability to maintain discretion, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity
- Warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine love for children
- Organized, adaptable, and confident when traveling or in new environments
