Governess, for a 6-year-old charming little boy. LA/London/Lagos
A fantastic new opportunity to support a high-profile family of three in LA/London/Lagos, Nigeria. Our client is looking for an energetic, positive, experienced Governess. This position is based in Lagos, Nigeria, year-round.
The focus of this role is education, manners, formal social etiquette and supporting his interests, such as: horse riding, chess, and sports. It is important to be tech-savvy, have calendar management experience, and plan nutritious meals with their in-house chef.
This home is staffed. There are currently two nannies to support this role. Additionally, you will have the support of housekeepers and drivers.
This position calls for extreme flexibility, which will be rewarded. You may act as a proxy to the child’s parents, so having a clean background is very important.
Candidates must have a minimum of a Master's degree, ideally an advanced degree in education. You must know British or American curriculum, again teaching experience is hugely beneficial with a minimum of 6 years’ experience. Any etiquette or table service etiquette courses completed would be tremendously advantageous. We are looking for a modern-day, Mary Poppins.
The main residence is in Lagos, Nigeria. Expect to travel with the family to London, Los Angeles, or other international locations.
Ideally, the position is live-out, but the family may consider offering a one-bedroom, one-bathroom arrangement.
Start date: as soon as possible.
Health Care: provided.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 with relocation assistance.
Discretionary Bonus.
One flight a year paid by our client to visit family.

Criminal/Credit background checks will be conducted on all successful candidates.
Medical clearance will be needed to qualify.
6 days a week, 12-hour shifts. While the child is in school, there is downtime.
(School 7.30am -2.30pm or on occasions 4.30pm)
