A wonderful, dynamic family living in Manhattan is seeking to hire a full-time Personal Assistant who may also have prior experience as a nanny. This is a dual role combining high-level personal assistant responsibilities with light childcare support for a busy, entrepreneurial household.
The Family
Both principals work from home and are driven, fast-paced entrepreneurs. The family has three children between the ages of 9 and 14, all of whom attend school full-time. The household is well-staffed, organized, and energetic, and they value flexibility, discretion, and a true team-player mindset.
Schedule & Flow of the Day

Morning support includes assisting with getting the children off to school

Midday hours may be remote, depending on the day and needs of the household

Afternoon support typically resumes between 3:00–5:00 PM, including:

School pick-ups

Transportation to after-school activities

Homework support and coordination
-
There is significant flexibility for the right candidate, including staggered hours or partial remote work during the day.
Responsibilities

Heavy calendar management for both principals and children

Coordinating children’s schedules, school events, medical appointments, birthdays, and gifting
-
Household logistics, travel coordination, and entertaining support
-
Liaising with and coordinating household staff, including the housekeeper and cook (weekly menu awareness)

Running errands and overseeing vendors

Assisting with email correspondence and administrative tasks

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Homework assistance and educational support (educational background a plus)

Additional Notes

No travel is currently required; however, the family may be open to discussing travel in the future if the candidate is interested
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and possess an excellent command of written and spoken English
- Monday through Friday - some weekend coverage - work from home possible at times throughout the day
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $110,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience
