Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced full-time nanny to care for two young children, a 3-year-old and a 7-month-old, in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and a commitment to creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. This position offers an opportunity to engage in meaningful, educational activities with both children, focusing on Montessori-inspired methods. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for a 3-year-old and a 7-month-old, including feeding, diapering, and managing nap routines
• Plan and engage the children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play
• Foster a safe environment, ensuring the children’s well-being at all times
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as tidying up after playtime and doing the children’s laundry
• Accompany the children to scheduled appointments or activities, as needed
• Promote positive behavior and emotional growth through positive reinforcement and consistent routines
• Regularly communicate with parents about the children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns
• Ensure that the environment remains clean, organized, and conducive to the children’s well-being

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a nanny or in a childcare setting, particularly with infants and toddlers
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Energetic, patient, and compassionate
• Ability to multitask effectively and manage the needs of both children simultaneously
• Highly reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
• Background check and references required

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday (exact hours to be discussed)

Compensation:

• Competitive annual salary, based on experience ($90,000 - $120,000)
