A warm, welcoming family based in South Beach (4th & Alton Rd.) is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their 15-month-old son. The ideal start date is as soon as possible.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a kind, youthful, and respectful family who value professionalism, discretion, and a nurturing presence in their home.
The family welcomes local candidates. Candidates who wish to live in Miami or have connections to the area will be offered an off-site studio apartment – as an option.
Position Overview
  • Location: South Beach, Miami, FL
  • Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday (1/2 day Sunday as neded with prior notice & Monday off)
  • Hours: Approximately 40–50 hours per week
  • Compensation: $85,000–$105,000 annually (DOE)
  • Start Date: ASAP
Family & Home Environment
  • Family resides in a 1,900 sq. ft. 2 bedroom apartment in South Beach
  • Father works from an office; mother works remotely and is in and out
  • A housekeeper is already employed
  • The family is polite, engaging, and values a positive, respectful household dynamic
Responsibilities
  • Full care of a 15-month-old child little boy (primary focus)
  • Maintain established nap and feeding schedules
  • Prepare simple, homemade puréed meals for the child (egg allergy awareness required)
  • Light household support related to the child (tidying, organization)
  • Assist with light household tasks while the child is napping
  • Occasionally prepare simple meals or leave food for the couple
  • Travel with the family domestically (June–October, approx. 5 months total annually)
  • Assist with potty training, and oversee development recognizing milestones in development
  • Assist with packing and maintain all inventories for the baby
  • Must communicate clearly with mom and dad throughout the day, baby updates
Candidate Profile
  • Experienced with infants and toddlers (strong preference for infant-focused background)
  • Infant CPR certified (required)
  • Should be able to swim and be of high energy interactive play and park time, assit with socializing 
  • Warm, proactive, and attentive with a calm, engaging demeanour
  • Active and hands-on in approach – no ego, willing to do what it takes to help the couple
  • Fluent in English (required); Spanish is a strong plus
  • Flexible and willing to travel domestically for extended periods
  • Mature, professional, and able to integrate seamlessly into a staffed household
  • Must be legal to work in the US and have three wonderful references  
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $85,000–$105,000 DOE
  • Separate studio apartment within walking distance (live-in option)
  • All travel expenses covered
  • Medical stipend/contribution offered
  • Long-term opportunity with a growing family (plans to move to a larger home in Miami next year with continued housing provided)
  • 2 Weeks paid vacation and one week of paid sick leave, accrued over time
