Experienced Nanny/New Born Care Specialist needed for first-time parents
A lovely family in Canada is looking to hire an experienced Nanny/NCS to support a first-time mom and dad. The couple wants to have someone in place before the baby’s arrival in the fall.
Understanding that skilled candidates may be committed or possibly ending a contract between now and when their baby arrives, they wanted to start their search early and are willing to engage an outstanding candidate.
The family will need support setting up the new nursery, purchasing advice, guidance regarding the positioning of furniture, instruction and direction with feeding and breast feeding. Additionally, sleep training support for their new baby. A candidate who understands the importance of nutrition for the baby and for the pregnant first-time mom would be fantastic.
Location: Montreal/Quebec, Canada
- Experienced full-time nanny with newborn experience certification highly desired
- Language English, having French would be advantageous
- Baby: first baby, girl, due on October 23, 2021
- Start date: August/Sept 2021. Earlier start date for candidates who will need assistance with Visa/ Work permit
- Visa: the family is willing to sponsor a successful candidate, but preference would be for an experienced Nanny/NCS who is already based in Canada
- Possible help needed to set up the nursery etc.
- Travel: Preferred but not required
- Hours: 40 hours per week, renumerated extra time (not frequent) depending on whether live-in
- Live in / live out: Flexible
- Clean Driving License desired
- Current Passport
Requirements:
A degree in neonatal care/certified NCS or have significant experience with newborn babies. First Aid & CPR certification, no criminal record, likes dogs, excellent verifiable references, driving license preferred but not required.
The family would like to find someone with long-term commitment in mind. Candidates need to have a proven track record dealing with newborns to be considered.
Salary: $130,000 to $180,000 negotiable depending on experience
