Position: Live-In Housekeeper & Nanny – Birmingham, Michigan

A private family in Birmingham, Michigan, is seeking a full-time Live-In Housekeeper & Nanny to support their 10,000 sq. ft. home. Birmingham is a charming suburb, similar to Englewood, New Jersey, or Long Island suburbs. The ideal candidate will have experience in both housekeeping and childcare, as outlined below. Must be of hight energy, in excellent physical shape, without drama, friendly, articualte, details and able to multi-task. 

Requirements:

• Housekeeper and Nanny Experience: Previous experience in both roles is required.
• Childcare Experience: Must have recent experience within the past 7 years, caring for children aged 0-10. The family's children are currently 3 and 5 years old.
• Long-Term Commitment: Seeking candidates who have worked with a family for multiple years. The family is looking for a long-term addition, not someone who frequently changes positions.
• Willingness to Travel: The family travels six times a year, often during holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Travel assistance is required.
• References: Candidates will undergo thorough reference checks, including background checks, phone interviews, and additional research.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Schedule: Full-time, with a guaranteed 46/50-hour workweek.
• Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Mid-day break: 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Return from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to assist with dinner cleanup.
• Saturdays: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Flexibility to travel is essential.
• Date nights: Flexibility is appreciated and will be requested in advance.
• Seperate, private fully appointed apartment, with private enterance offered. 

• Compensation: $95,000 to $110,000.
