Houseman/Handyman/Property Maintenance - CLOSED

Our client in Boca Raton, FL, is in need of a houseman/property maintenance professional. The main home is 19,000 sq ft and has 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. There is also a pool home on the property. The family consists of the parents, two children, and two large dogs- a Doberman and German Shepherd. The children have a full-time nanny to tend to their needs. The family also has a housekeeper in place.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the home’s exterior
• Maintain the property grounds
• Cleaning windows
• Using power equipment, specialty equipment
• Supporting landscaping and lawn care as needed
• Supporting the housekeeper as needed
• Perform routine maintenance to the home- changing light bulbs, troubleshooting, garage door repair, etc.
• Pet care as needed
• Preparations for hurricane season
• Assistance with event set up and break down
• Garbage and recycling removal
• Washing, vacuuming, wiping for interior of vehicles
• Complete small projects on the estate

This position is for a basic houseman/handyman with property maintenance experience. The environment is casual and active. The candidate will take direction well but also must have common sense to complete tasks independently.

Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday; 9 AM to 5 PM
• Salary: $25 per hour, 40 hours per week
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must have experience in handyman, property maintenance, and/or houseman
• Knowledge of power equipment and heavy equipment is advantageous
