A beautiful oceanfront residence in Ormond Beach, Florida is seeking a flexible, detail-oriented Houseman to work under the direction of the House Manager. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who enjoys a varied role supporting both exterior and interior household needs while contributing to the daily functionality of a highly maintained private estate.
Role Overview
The Houseman will assist with all aspects of exterior upkeep, light interior support, and general property maintenance. The employer is highly detailed and values someone who is proactive, thoughtful, and able to think outside the box while following established household systems and protocols. Must be physicall in shape to perform duties and able to manage the family pets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the House Manager with daily household operations
- Exterior maintenance including window cleaning, blowing leaves, and light gardening tasks
- Walking two dogs and assisting with general pet care (dogs and chickens on property)
- Washing vehicles and wiping down exterior doors and entryways
- Running household errands as needed
- Assisting with specific interior tasks such as bed making and following detailed cleaning protocols
- Supporting structured dietary preparation requirements as directed by the House Manager
- Assisting with light repairs and general property upkeep
- Asssit with feeding, walking and grooming three large Golden Retriver's
Schedule & Compensation
- Approximately 25–30 hours per week
- Flexibility required
- Weekend coverage needed one to two weekends per month, rotating with the House Manager
