Overview:

A prominent UHNW family is seeking a discreet, professional, and highly organized Houseman / Runner to support the daily operations of their primary residence in California. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, adaptable, and able to anticipate the needs of a high-level household. This position requires reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to household support and errands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day support tasks throughout the estate including light maintenance, cleaning, and organization
• Act as primary household runner: shopping, pickups/drop-offs, dry cleaning, post office runs, deliveries, returns, etc.
• Support the housekeeping and estate management teams as needed with indoor and outdoor tasks
• Maintain household vehicles: fueling, washing, and scheduling service appointments
• Assist with setup and breakdown for events and special gatherings
• Perform seasonal tasks including patio/deck furniture setup, minor landscaping support, and property readiness
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers when requested
• Restock household supplies and maintain detailed inventory lists
• Handle occasional driving and transportation requests
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role in a high-end or UHNW household
• Strong understanding of household service standards and etiquette
• Excellent driving record and valid California driver’s license
• Tech-savvy; able to use household apps or systems for task tracking
• Professional, discreet, and trustworthy
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and manage physically demanding tasks
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings if required

Preferred:

• Familiarity with smart home systems and home automation
• Experience supporting luxury estates or working with estate management teams
• Working knowledge of vehicle care, basic home maintenance, and vendor coordination
