A wonderful family in Atlanta, GA (Buckhead 30324) is seeking an experienced and reliable Houseman to assist in maintaining their 20,000-square-foot estate, including the pool house, outdoor barbecue area, gardens, and additional property structures.

Responsibilities

Property Maintenance & Organization

• Conduct daily property walks to inspect for maintenance issues and report any concerns to the Estate Manager.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including sweeping patios, porches, and walkways, and watering plants.
• Oversee vendors, ensuring they follow proper procedures (e.g., wearing protective booties) and complete their work to standard before approving invoices.
• Manage trash disposal, recycling, and breaking down boxes from deliveries.
• Assist with packing/unpacking and organizing storage rooms.

Home & Vehicle Maintenance

• Stock and maintain household and staff refrigerators, pool house, and outbuildings.
• Change light bulbs as needed, ensuring proper wattage and placement.
• Assist housekeepers with moving furniture, flipping mattresses, and seasonal décor setup.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, including fueling, coordinating with detailers, and scheduling service appointments.

Errands & General Assistance

• Run errands such as returning packages (Amazon, local stores) and picking up household essentials.
• Occasionally provide transportation to the airport or local destinations for family members.

Schedule & Compensation

• Salary: $95,000 annually.
• Schedule: Flexible; previous houseman worked 7 AM – 3 PM, but hours can be adjusted based on needs.
• Overtime Pay available.
