Handyman/Property Maintenance/Basic Engineer - Greenwich, CT 

Our client in Greenwich, CT, needs a handyman/property maintenance professional. This person will be hands-on and in charge of maintaining the overall physical wellness of the property, inside and out. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, confident in using and troubleshooting appliances, comfortable with severe weather changes, and flexible in their day-to-day duties. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the home's exterior
• Maintain the property grounds
• Climbing ladders/Cleaning windows
• Using power equipment, specialty equipment
• Troubleshoot electronics 
• Security system maintenance/oversight 
• Appliance maintenance and troubleshooting when needed
• Confidence to reach out to vendors to help fix broken technical devices/appliances if needed
• Perform routine maintenance to the home- changing light bulbs, troubleshooting, garage door repair, etc.
• Pet care as needed
• Preparations for severe weather (snow storms)
• Seasonal management/knowing how to handle snow and the aftermath
• Assistance with event set up and breakdown
• Garbage and recycling removal
• Washing, vacuuming, and wiping the interior of vehicles
• Complete small projects on the estate

This position is for a houseman/handyman with property maintenance and/or engineering experience. The candidate will take direction well but also must have common sense to complete tasks independently.

Details:

• Salary: $75k - $85k
• Bonuses, PTO, and full medical benefits offered
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must have experience in handyman, property maintenance, and/or houseman
• Knowledge of power equipment and heavy equipment is advantageous
