Houseman/Valet - PLACED
A Wonderful Gentleman with a large home just south of Atlanta International Airport is looking for valet/butler/houseman support.
Our client, who is separated, and has shared custody of his 5 children is looking for a candidate who can wear many hats, taking on many different roles.
The home consists of 8 bedrooms and ten bathrooms. There is a team of housekeepers in place. Our client is looking for a detailed houseman/valet to support his daily needs, supporting all aspects of home maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be a team player and get on well with others, adhering to a strict no drinking/alcohol policy within the home.
Responsibilities:
- Houseman responsibilities: polish shoes, steaming and pressing, closet organization, maintenance of shoes, packing and unpacking, stocking and inventory control, dusting, vacuuming, and assisting housekeepers with cleaning
- Maintain household inventories
- All aspects of food and beverage service include setting the table, preparing a simple meal on chefs’ days off
- Support the setup of target practice on the property, which includes archery and skeet shooting
- Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
- Have a pro-active approach regarding maintenance
- Must be a team player
- Have the ability to travel extensively
- Must have a current passport
- Flexibility with scheduling
Hours and Benefits:
Monday through Friday with occasional weekend support; 45-50 hours a week
Medical, Dental, Vision contribution
Standard P/T/0 of 15 days (Three weeks)
Salary $70,000 to $100,000 depending on experience

2 Bedroom fully appointed cottage on the property
The use of a vehicle during working hours
Requirements:
Must pass a detailed criminal background check
Must have excellent verifiable references
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
