Live-in or Live-out Housekeeper/Cook: Puerto Rico - Dorado
A lovely single British gentleman seeks to hire a fantastic housekeeper with cooking skills to support him when he visits Puerto Rico. Mr. generally comes in for a couple of weeks and leaves for a couple of weeks throughout the year.
This is a full-time opportunity, generally Monday through Friday, 10 am to 10 pm, with a 1-2 hour break in the middle of the day. (There is a second housekeeper in place to cover days off) Flexibility with scheduling is required when Mr. visits. The home is located in Dorado, zip code -00646, in a five-star resort community.
The house is approx. 3,000 square feet, three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, two half baths, an office, and a private cinema. Our client is looking for an experienced, bi-lingual housekeeper to live-in or live-out.
Mr. is practical and informal but wants someone who is experienced, who wants to live in or live out and have some connections to the island.
A generously appointed private bedroom and bathroom are offered to live-in candidates.
*Note there are two cats, and part of the role is to care for Mr.'s pets - feeding, cleaning, water, vet appointments, etc.
Responsibilities:
All aspects for cleaning and maintaining the home, laundry, and ironing, closet management, packing and unpacking, making beds and changing sheets regularly, stocking all supplies, and meal preparation when Mr. is visiting. Mr. may need assistance with packing and unpacking, ideally have the ability to drive, and should have a good command of Spanish. Someone familiar with the area, community, and resources would be desirable and advantageous.
40–50-hour week (Monday to Friday with possible weekend support when Mr. has visitors). Mr. visits for a week or two, then may not return for 3-5 weeks or a couple of months, depending on the time of year.

- Must have a neat and well-groomed presentation.
- Must be highly organized, maintain and order all supplies, be attention detailed, and self-manage.
- Must pass a detailed criminal and credit background check
- Have a minimum of 5 years prior experience working in a private home, and verifiable references
- Ideally, be bi-lingual (Not a requirement, but desired)
- Ability to drive, use Uber, tech-savvy
Compensation:
$65,000 to $85,000 yearly D/O/E and combined skills
