We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper in New York - Upper East Side
NYC Housekeeper w/ Nanny responsibilities, 40 hours a week 6:30AM – 2:30PM.
MUST HAVES
Must be experienced in formal or semi-formal high end homes.
Uniform will be worn (white polo and khaki pants).
Ok with principals’ pets (cats/small dog in future).
Flexibility important.
Physically fit, smart, team player, townhouse experience a plus.
NYC Live-Out duties are 80% Housekeeping / 20% Nanny.
Job Duties:
- General housekeeping (make beds, wash dishes, unpack groceries and packages, empty cat litter box, vacuum, dust, answer door, organize, take trash out, etc.).
- Must be intelligent and mindful, physically in good shape (lots of stairs in 6 story townhouse), a team player.
- Make 6-year-old girl breakfast, help her into uniform, take her across park to school if needed.
- Household laundry/ironing.
This house will also be supported by an on-site Personal Assistant (who can help w/ ordering items, etc.); a Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper who does general cleaning and nanny duties (Monday-Friday, 10:00AM-8:00PM); and the 2-3 day per week cleaner who comes in from Tuxedo Park.
Schedule/Pay/Benefits
In general, the hours are around 40 per week, Monday-Friday, 6:30AM – 2:30PM.
Two weeks paid vacation (on mutually agreed upon dates).
Health Insurance provided (premiums are paid).
Pay is approx. $80K per year.
