Part-Time Housekeeper – Los Angeles, CA

Our clients, a young couple with a new baby, have homes nationally and internationally and are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join their household. Their home has 3 bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms, with an additional guest house and gym. There are no pets. 

The ideal candidate must be dependable and can be trusted with responsibilities. They must maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and be highly organized, reliable, and punctual, with a verifiable work history.

 Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning duties—dusting, vacuuming, basic laundry, hand washing—manage dry cleaning, and have prior experience working in large homes with valuable art and furniture.
• Maintain all living spaces daily, including a breakfast porch and an outside lounge area.
• Organize and maintain household supplies and inventory ordering online, shopping locally for more specialized items.
• Assist with occasional meal preparation and kitchen cleaning as needed. At times, prepare or warm baby formula, order online, and have food delivered.
• The family is not in residence all year round and would like to hire someone who is self-motivated and can manage projects, such as deep cleaning when they are not in residence.
• Collaborate effectively with the existing house manager/facilities manager on any maintenance issues, taking a proactive approach to ensuring that everything is working as it should be. Report any maintenance issues or repairs to the house manager promptly.
• Handle special cleaning projects – wardrobe rotation/seasonal cleaning tasks.

 Qualifications:

• Proven long-term experience as a housekeeper in private residences, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Discretion and respect for privacy and confidentiality is essential.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and household needs.
• Physical stamina and mobility to perform regular cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must pass a detailed criminal background check.
• Must have verifiable professional references.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Conversational Russian or Ukranian is highly desirable.

 Schedule:

• 3 days a week.
• Live-out.

 Compensation:

• $35 to $45/hour.
