We are seeking an experienced, warm, and reliable Housekeeper/Cook to support a 20-year-old NCAA scholarship student during the month of August.
The student's mother has engaged us to identify someone who can provide a clean, organized, and comfortable home environment while supporting her son as he focuses on his academic and athletic commitments. This is primarily a hands-on housekeeping and cooking position. The ideal candidate will be organized, caring without being intrusive, and comfortable supporting a young adult while respecting his independence and privacy.
Responsibilities
- Daily housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organized home
- Laundry, linens, and clothing care
- Grocery shopping and household provisioning
- Preparing fresh, healthy, home-style meals
- Kitchen cleanup and organization
- Maintaining household inventories and ensuring supplies are replenished
- Ordering groceries, household supplies, and other items online
- Running occasional household errands
- General household organization and tidying
- Communicating with the family regarding household needs
- Providing a comfortable and well-maintained home environment
Candidate Requirements
- Prior professional housekeeping or private household experience is required
- Basic conversational English and the ability to communicate household needs clearly
- Comfortable using a smartphone and computer for basic online ordering
- Ability to maintain household and grocery inventories
- Confident preparing healthy, home-style meals
- Organized, dependable, discreet, and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and anticipate household needs
- Flexible regarding daily scheduling as the student's athletic and academic commitments may change
- Willing to work 5 days per week, with flexibility regarding which days are required
The student is of Turkish background, so familiarity with Turkish or Mediterranean-style cooking would be welcomed but is not required.
This is not a nanny position. The young man is 20 years old and independent; the position is focused on housekeeping, cooking, laundry, organization, provisioning, and general household support.
Compensation & Accommodation
For candidates wishing to live in, a private bedroom and bathroom will be provided.

This is an excellent short-term August opportunity (1 Year commitment) for a Housekeeper/Cook who is trustworthy and responsible.
