Housekeeper/Nanny, Saint Simons Island, GA PLACED

A full-time housekeeper/nanny is needed to support a busy young couple on Saint Simons Island, GA. in their north end large plantation-style home. The home consists of 9000 sq of interior space, 5 bedrooms and 5 and 1/2 bathrooms, wrap around porch and pool house. Candidates must be comfortable climbing stairs as the home is elevated and comprised of three elevated floors.

The housekeeper/nanny would be responsible for all aspects of cleaning.

Responsibilities would include the following:

• picking up toys and cleaning the toys
• vacuuming the house, dusting, cleaning the hardwood floors
• water plants
• cleaning the two bedrooms and bathrooms that are in daily use
• sweeping the porch and bring cushions in and out cushions depending on the weather conditions
• setting the fireplace and making sure that wood is stocked
• supporting with basic laundry & wardrobe organization skills
• updating and creating an inventory of supplies for the home
• managing expiring food items
• skilled at ordering on Amazon
• gas vehicles when running errands/perodically driving the car through the wash, cleaning of the family’s vehicles
• thinking ahead making sure that the right car seat is in the right car
• support packing, and unpacking
• willing to drive to Jacksonville, Costco or JAX airport
• comfortable with alarms and dealing with service contractors would be advantageous
• having the ability to text and respond to e-mails clearly and promptly
• our clients travel to their other properties during the winter with their two children. The ideal candidate will be comfortable acting as the point of contact

There is a nanny in place who travels with the family. When the nanny takes vacation or time off throughout the day the "housekeeper/nanny" will be expected to step in and support as needed.

There is a new born and 4-year-old who just started school.

Candidates must have 5 years of prior experience, clear command of English, Non-smoker, pass a criminal background check and have a current clean driving licensee without any tickets or infractions.

This is a live-out role and open to GA candidates only.

Salary $700 -$900 weekly D/O/E
