A busy professional family in Ponte Vedra, Florida is seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Household Support Professional to assist with the ongoing care, organization, and presentation of their home.
The family includes two working parents and young school-aged children. The household is active but organized, and the family is looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of the home while providing additional household support as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on housekeeping but also has the organizational skills and initiative to take responsibility for maintaining household standards. The position has the potential to evolve over time as the family's needs change.
Schedule
The family will guarantee a minimum of 20 hours per week, with additional hours available depending upon the family's schedule, entertaining, projects, and household needs.
The anticipated (Flexible schedule) is:
Monday: Approximately 8:00/9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday: Approximately 8:00/9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Thursday: Approximately 8:00/9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Friday: Approximately 8:00/9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
There is some flexibility surrounding start times and the overall schedule for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility will be maintaining a consistently clean, organized, and well-presented home. Responsibilities will include:

Daily and detailed housekeeping throughout the residence

Maintaining kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas

Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and general household upkeep

Making beds and maintaining bedrooms

Light household laundry as needed

Household organization and keeping spaces orderly

Monitoring household and grocery inventories

Grocery shopping and restocking household essentials

Light food preparation and assistance with meal prep

Preparing the home before and after guests or social events

Assisting with household projects and organization

Coordinating with outside cleaning services when utilized

Ensuring household standards are maintained between deeper professional cleanings

Communicating household needs, maintenance concerns, or inventory requirements to the family
The family has a private chef when meals are required, so this is not a cooking position. However, someone comfortable assisting with grocery inventory, basic food preparation, and keeping the refrigerator and pantry organized would be appreciated.
The family entertains socially on a fairly regular basis, generally hosting informally approximately once a week with larger planned events several times throughout the year. Assistance preparing the home before guests arrive and helping return the home to order afterward will be part of the position.
Looking Ahead
The family would ideally like to find someone who can grow with them. Their youngest daughter will begin kindergarten next year, and the family is considering a major home renovation within the next one to two years.
As the family's needs evolve, there may be opportunities for the position to incorporate additional household management responsibilities, project and vendor oversight, errands, and occasional assistance relating to the children. These evolving needs may also provide opportunities for additional weekly hours beyond the guaranteed 20 hours.

A candidate who combines strong hands-on housekeeping skills with the ability and interest to take on additional household responsibilities over time would be particularly interesting.
Compensation: $35–$40 per hour, depending upon experience
