Our client in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking an experienced housekeeper with exceptional laundress and cooking skills. The family consists of both parents, three school-age children, and one sweet dog. They are moving into a new-build, 7,500 square feet home in the coming weeks. The expected start date for the candidate is November 1^st.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Laundry- stain removal, washing, folding, ironing, tracking dry cleaning, and wardrobe management
• General cleaning- cleaning floors, sanitizing surfaces, maintaining appliances, dusting, bathrooms, and changing trash receptacles
• Linen changes- fold and store clean linens and towels neatly away
• Organize and maintain overall cleanliness of the home, keeping the general living areas clear of clutter
• Assist the children in maintaining their room and play areas as needed
• Cooking- this is an integral responsibility. Gourmet chef training is not required but knowing how to plan and prepare a nutritionally diverse and delicious menu is necessary
• Set the table and clear the dining area after dinner
• Clean the kitchen after cooking, storing any food items properly
• Maintain the pantries, keeping an inventory of snacks and food items
• Inventory and ordering supplies to include cleaning products, home goods, bathroom supplies, etc.
• Walk the dog as needed- a love for animals would be a wonderful attribute
• Occasionally provide transportation for the children, safely delivering the children to school and activities when the parents are not able
• Knowledge of inventory tracking apps, schedule management apps, and online ordering would be advantageous

Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM
• Must have a minimum of 5 years in housekeeping
• Availability to start in November
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to use your own vehicle occasionally would be advantageous- standard mileage rates will be reimbursed
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Salary: $1,000 to $1,200 per week with standard mileage reimbursement as required
