Position: Full-Time Housekeeper (with Cooking and Vendor Management Abilities)
We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a beautiful 4,000 square foot main residence 4b/3b/rooftop garden and an adjoining 1,700 square foot guest villa used for Airbnb rentals in the historic area of Old San Juan with a shared pool area that need to be maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in house cleaning, cooking, and vendor management to ensure the property is always in pristine condition and fully functional.
Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping:
- Daily cleaning of the main residence and guest villa, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Laundry, ironing, and changing linens as required.
- Ensure the property is fully stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., toiletries, cleaning products, linens, etc.).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and residents.
- Cooking & Meal Prep:
- Prepare and cook daily meals for residents (if needed), including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, including food storage and pantry management.
- Ensure meal preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests are met.
- Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., cleaners, maintenance workers, landscapers) to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Schedule and oversee repairs or maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Keep track of vendor invoices and ensure proper payments are made.
- Guest Villa Maintenance:
- Prepare and clean the guest villa between Airbnb guest stays, ensuring the space is guest-ready.
- Manage guest check-ins/check-outs and handle any special requests from guests to enhance their experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping, cooking, and vendor management.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring both the main residence and guest villa are maintained to the highest standard.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Comfortable with cooking a variety of meals to accommodate different dietary preferences.
- Experience managing vendors and maintaining communication with external service providers.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in Airbnb or short-term rental management is a plus.
- Ability to manage occasional guest interactions with professionalism and warmth.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday with weekend coverage as needed
Compensation:
40-hour week based on salary range from $95,000 - $120,000 D.O.E. and Medical stipend after 6 months
