Job Title: Housekeeper

Hours: 24 - 40 hours per week, open for the right candidate

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in Roslyn, New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment within our Client's property. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to providing a comfortable living space. Our Client is looking for someone who can support all aspects of a normal day in the family's life. You could be asked to prepare a snack for one of the children, prepare for dinner or start turn down servide before end of day.

There are childern who are in schoo and driving may be required. The family has one small dog. The home is 5,000 sq. ft. with five bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. This postion offers a uniform. 

Our Client is open to someone working three or more days a week, up to a full 40 hour work week. The Client is flexible. based pn the candidate's needs. The family is practical and the house is semi-formal - understanding boundaries while being friendly and professional are essential traits. 

Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning and Sanitizing:
• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and bathroom surfaces regularly.
• Ensure all rooms are well-organized and presentable.
2. Laundry and Linen Care:
• Manage laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
• Change bed linens and make beds to ensure a fresh and welcoming atmosphere.
3. Organization:
• Maintain an organized and clutter-free environment.
• Assist with organizing closets, cabinets, and other storage areas.
4. Supply Management:
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other household items as needed.
• Inform management of any supplies that need restocking.
5. Special Projects:
• Assist with occasional deep-cleaning projects as requested.
• Collaborate with other household staff as needed for special events or tasks.
6. Communication:
• Communicate effectively with residents to address specific cleaning preferences.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

1. Experience:
• Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.
2. Reliability:
• Punctual and reliable attendance is crucial for this position.
3. Attention to Detail:
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Our client would like drawers to be organized and labeled, all labels facing out, all personal supplies and personal clothing folded neatly, and color coordinated
4. Physical Stamina:
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
5. Communication Skills:
• Good communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions.
6. Flexibility:
• Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and tasks.

Benefits:
