Full-Time Housekeeper

Palm Beach & Jupiter Island, Florida

A wonderful senior couple is seeking an experienced, professional Full-Time Housekeeper to support their residences in Palm Beach and Jupiter Island, Florida. The position will be primarily based at the family’s approximately 5,000-square-foot Palm Beach residence, with flexibility to assist at their approximately 6,500-square-foot Jupiter Island residence as needed.

The principals are longtime seasonal Florida residents who are incredibly kind, respectful, polite, and appreciative of their staff. Both homes are staffed, and the family is looking for an experienced Housekeeper who values professionalism, discretion, teamwork, and long-term employment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a career Housekeeper with strong tenure in previous private household positions who is looking for a stable, long-term role with wonderful principals and an excellent benefits package.

Schedule

Monday through Friday
Approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

40 hours per week guaranteed year-round.

As the principals are seasonal residents, the household is busier during the winter season. Flexibility will be required to assist with occasional weekend coverage during the season, working cooperatively with the existing household staff.

During the off-season, when the principals are away, the workload and daily hours may be reduced; however, the position remains full-time with 40 hours per week guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Daily and detailed housekeeping throughout the residences
• Maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, and guest areas
• Laundry, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe care
• Changing and maintaining bed linens and household linens
• Closet and drawer organization
• Maintaining household and cleaning inventories
• Restocking household supplies and personal items
• Seasonal deep cleaning and household organization
• Preparing the residences prior to the principals’ arrival
• Maintaining the homes while the principals are away
• Assisting with packing and unpacking as needed
• Working collaboratively with other Housekeepers and household staff
• Communicating clearly with fellow staff members to ensure the homes operate smoothly
• Taking direction from the principals and senior household staff
• Providing occasional weekend coverage during the busy season
• Maintaining the highest levels of discretion, privacy, and professionalism

Ideal Candidate

The family is seeking a career Housekeeper who takes genuine pride in maintaining beautiful private residences.

Candidates should have previous experience working in high-end private homes, with excellent tenure and longevity in prior positions. As both residences are staffed, the successful candidate must be comfortable working as part of a team and alongside other experienced Housekeepers.

Clear communication and a positive, cooperative attitude are essential. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English and understand and follow directions given in English.

The ideal candidate will be warm, polished, respectful, discreet, hardworking, and comfortable supporting senior principals. Someone who can self-direct when appropriate while also taking direction and working seamlessly within an established household team would be particularly well suited.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation & Benefits

$40–$45 per hour / approximately $85,000+ annually, depending on experience

40 hours per week guaranteed year-round
