Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional weekend coverage
Compensation: $65K–$80K per year (based on experience) + medical stipend + two weeks paid vacation/ 1 week of paid sick leave

Position Overview:
A friendly and generous couple in Houston’s River Oaks is seeking an experienced, versatile Housekeeper or Houseman to maintain their beautiful 6,000 sq. ft. home and provide comprehensive household support. The current long-term housekeeper and handyman—both with 15+ years of service—are retiring, and the family is looking for a single, highly skilled individual to take over responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is confident, highly detailed, and capable of managing all aspects of household operations, from cleaning and inventory management to errands, online ordering, and travel preparation. The couple greatly appreciate their staff and seek someone who can work independently while maintaining the highest standards of discretion and professionalism.
Responsibilities:

Full housekeeping for a 6,000 sq. ft. luxury home: polishing silver, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and deep cleaning as needed

Laundry, ironing, pressing, and management of dry cleaning

Organize, maintain, and stock pantries, fridges, and household inventories

Running errands and coordinating deliveries

Ordering household supplies online

Bringing in firewood and general household logistics

Assist with packing, unpacking, and managing laundry during family travel

Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed

Maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming environment at all times
Requirements:

Prior private household experience required
-
3–5+ years of experience in a private home or luxury residential setting

Strong references from previous employers (outstanding references required)

Clean background check required

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Self-motivated, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

Strong command of English

Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks

Must live within 30–40 minutes of River Oaks

Confident with travel preparation, packing, and maintaining household systems
