Housekeeper

A housekeeper/cook is needed to support a very busy family of five in Miami, FL. The home is 5,000 square feet with five bedrooms and five bathrooms. 

The family presently has a cleaning vendor come in once or twice a week. They are looking to eliminate the vendor and hire a full-time housekeeper that will deep clean once a week and provide basic maintenance cleaning throughout the week. 

The role also includes cooking family meals and preparing dishes the family can easily heat in the oven. 

There is a full-time nanny in the home. The housekeeper/cook is expected to support the nanny with tidying up the children's play areas, bedrooms, closets or clean up after bath-time when time permits. This is not a childcare role, but team effort is expected. 

The parents travel for work often. Being able to self-manage, follow directions, and complete a task list is essential. Knowing how to rotate the pantries/refrigerator and inventory the pantries/household supplies is a must. Experience ordering supplies and groceries online is advantageous. 

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Salary: $20 to $25 per hour

Must pass a criminal background check

Must have a valid driver's license

Three years in a similar role would be advantageous

A minimum of three years of experience in basic housekeeping support
