Traveling housekeeper need for a couple in Miami with homes in Texas and Colorado
The existing housekeeper has retired after eight years and the family is looking for someone who would enjoy working in a casual environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves to travel, enjoys warm weather, and work in a respectful, welcoming, and calm home. There is very little entertaining at each home.
Each residence has a full-time housekeeper in place and a support crew. The new hire would be the point of control between the housekeeping staff, sharing information regarding changes in the couple's lifestyle, making sure that the houses are stocked and clean before the principal’s arrival.
The couple owns three properties and at each property, there is a beautifully appointed room and private bath for the use of the housekeeper. All expenses are paid at each location.
The couple does not intend to travel until February of 2021. When the couple and housekeeper travel, they fly private.
The Florida residence is approximately 10,000 sq. ft.
The property in El Paso, Texas is a five-bedroom five-bath villa
The Colorado home is between 8,000 and 9,000 sq. ft.
Responsibilities:
- Full housekeeping responsibilities at each residence
- Basic laundry as all personal clothes is sent out
- Before arrival at each property clear communication is needed between the other housekeeping team. Making sure that the house is stocked and ready for the principals
- The normal schedule is five to six days, flexibility is important in this role, 45-50 hours a week.
- This is not a pressured environment and the principals are very respectful of their staff
- Must love pets
- At times Mr. might require help buttoning the cuffs of his shirt
- Packing and unpacking, wardrobe management, having an understanding of the care of fine clothing is necessary
- All three meals are served, being confident in the kitchen would be advantageous
- Clean driving license
