Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Housekeeper to join a busy household in Marietta, Atlanta. This is a unique opportunity to work in a large, 18,000 sq. ft. home with three children, providing support and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for the family. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle the demands of a large home with efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces, and additional rooms.
• Laundry and Linens: Perform laundry duties for the household, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
• Organization: Ensure that household items are organized and stored properly; assist with organizing closets, cupboards, and storage spaces as needed.
• Child-Friendly Support: Maintain child-safe and child-friendly cleaning practices, ensuring common areas and children’s rooms are clean and tidy.
• Meal Preparation Support: Assist with basic meal prep and clean-up in the kitchen, working in collaboration with other household staff if needed.
• Vendor and Supply Management: Coordinate with household managers to replenish cleaning supplies and manage relationships with service vendors (e.g., for deep cleaning, maintenance).
• Special Projects: Handle seasonal cleaning projects, including window washing, organization, and upkeep for holidays or special events.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a Housekeeper in large or luxury homes
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a large space
• Familiarity with child-safe and family-friendly cleaning practices
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Yacht crew are encouraged to apply
