Housekeeper Manhattan, NY PLACED

We have a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned full-time housekeeper to work in Manhattan, NY. In the summer months, support would be needed at our clients E. Hampton vacation home. The right candidate must be comfortable navigating to and from Manhattan and E.Hampton. Support in E. Hampton would be expected during the summer months only. Possible temporary housing may be provided.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of consecutive experience working in a home to be considered. The present housekeeper in the city has been with the family for close to 20 years and is in need of additional help. The role involves dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the principal’s bedroom and bathrooms, wardrobe management, laundry, answer the phone and take messages and running errands. The ideal candidate should be comfortable preparing a simple, healthy meal for the principals.

Due to the present situation with COVID, the principals are asking that any candidates limit their travel to a minimum when the principals are in-residence. Candidates must understand safe cleaning practices and be proactive in mitigating the chances of contracting the virus.

There are no pets. The principals don't smoke and have very few visitors/guests.

Schedule:

Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday through Thursday when the principals are in town. During the winter months when the principals are in Florida, a Monday – Friday schedule might be considered.
