Job Summary:

We seek a skilled and reliable Housekeeper for a lovely home in Highland Park near Dallas, TX. As a Housekeeper, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of our clients' homes. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to creating a welcoming and sanitary environment. The principal's are a wonderful retired couple, who are friendly practical and approachable. 

Responsibilities:

1. Perform various cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces in assigned areas.
2. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring all areas meet or exceed hygiene standards.
3. Make beds, change linens, and tidy up rooms.
4. Stock and replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
5. Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables.
6. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to the owners.
7. Collaborate with other p/t housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
8. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and promptly addressing their concerns or requests.
9. Adhere to established cleaning procedures and preferences and safety guidelines.
10. Manage laundry and dry cleaning, read labels, and follow care instructions.
11. Follow privacy and security protocols to safeguard clients' personal belongings and confidential information.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role, preferably in a residential setting.
2. Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
3. Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals, read labels, and follow directions.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
6. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects if required.
7. Professional, reliable, and, most importantly, punctual.
8. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
10. Must be comfortable feeding the family dogs, who are well behaved and friendly.
11. Fluency in English is essential, communicate via text, answer the door and take clear messages are all part of the requirements. 

$30 - $38/hour

Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm
