Waterfront Residence | Seasonal Cape Cod Component

A lovely, informal senior couple is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper / Household Assistant to support their primary waterfront residence in downtown Boston (approximately 3,000 sq. ft.) with a seasonal transition to East Falmouth, Cape Cod during the summer months. This is a long-term, stable role with a kind, respectful household.

The family ideally prefers 3–4 days per week, though they are open to full-time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Full housekeeping and upkeep of the Boston residence

  • Laundry, ironing, steaming, and dry-cleaning management

  • Vacuuming, dusting, surface care, and organization throughout the home

  • Light cooking and meal assistance as needed

  • Grocery shopping, online ordering, returns, and household errands

  • Inventory management and household supplies oversight

  • Closet organization and seasonal rotation

  • Packing and unpacking assistance for seasonal transitions and travel

  • Overseeing vendors and service providers to ensure care of the property

  • Driving to and from medical appointments as needed

  • General household support with a proactive, service-minded approach

Seasonal Component

  • Summers spent in East Falmouth, Cape Cod 

  • A private guest suite is offered during the summer months. Open schedule, felxible schedule 

  • Candidate should be open to seasonal relocation with the family

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Prior private household housekeeping experience

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and respectful of fine finishes

  • Comfortable working independently and anticipating needs

  • Warm, discreet, and service-oriented personality

  • CNA or medical training is highly desirable (though not required)

  • Comfortable supporting aging principals who are active and independent

  • Strong references and a long-term mindset

Schedule

  • Ideally 3–4 days per week, with flexibility

  • Open to full-time for the ideal candidate

Compensation & Benefits

  • $90K +, depending on experience

  • Medical insurance offered

  • Two weeks of paid vacation

  • One week of paid sick leave
