Housekeeper - PLACED

Fulltime housekeeper needed to join a fully staffed home. This is a majestic home which spans over 9,000 square feet, with 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. The principals are wonderful repeat clients who are looking to add to their existing staff. The family consists of the principals in residence and two Labrador Retrievers. Their children and grandchildren visit periodically, so extra flexibility would be appreciated. The principals are private and would like to find a candidate who is discrete and respects their privacy and busy life.

We are looking for a seasoned housekeeper, someone who understands how to clean and maintain the finest things. To be successful, you must be a team player, willing to support other staff, possibly serve at periodic dinner parties, and be comfortable working within a fully-staffed home. You must have excellent, verifiable references to be considered for this position.

• All candidates must have a minimum of three years’ private housekeeping experience
• Possess a clear command of English
• Must be able to text and receive e-mails
• Politely answer the door when receiving packages or welcoming guests or vendors
• Have your own car to run errands (reimbursed for mileage)
• Must be comfortable around pets (2 large dogs and 1 cat)
• Assisting with all aspects of pet care, including, feeding, daily walks, grooming, and vet appointments
• Occasionally work nights or weekends to maintain the home and provide assistance with the pets when the principals are traveling

Hours: 35-40, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
Salary: $25 hourly, benefits offered after three months.
Year-end discretionary bonus based on performance.
