Position Overview

A wonderful opportunity is available for an experienced, professional Housekeeper to support a beautiful private residence in the Aspen area.

Our client is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys housekeeping, takes pride in their work, and has a clear understanding of the standards expected in a high-end private home.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable working both independently and alongside other household staff.

This is a full-time, year-round opportunity offering a professional working environment and the potential for a long-term relationship with a private family.

The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, with flexibility required during busier periods, particularly throughout the summer months. Occasional six-day workweeks may be necessary when the family is in residence.

Responsibilities

• Full daily housekeeping, detailed cleaning, deep cleaning, and seasonal cleaning.

• Complete laundry care, including washing, ironing, steaming, pressing, and caring for fine linens and clothing.

• Proper care of fine furnishings, artwork, delicate surfaces, and specialty materials.

• Maintaining closets, storage areas, household supplies, and inventories.

• Ensuring the residence is consistently maintained, beautifully presented, and guest-ready.

• Assisting with household preparations, flowers, table settings, and occasional entertaining.

• Communicating clearly with household staff and assisting with additional projects as needed.

• Following established housekeeping procedures and best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working in a high-end private residence, luxury hotel, or similar environment.

• Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills, with a strong understanding of proper cleaning methods and products.

• Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and capable of working independently.

• Professional, polite, discreet, and respectful of privacy and confidentiality.

• A positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed.

• Comfortable working as part of a household team, taking direction, and maintaining established standards.

• Excellent professional references and a history of longevity in previous positions.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must have a clear command of English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.

• Must be able to provide three wonderful, verifiable professional references from previous employers.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation & Schedule

• Compensation: $45+ per hour, depending on experience.

• Annual Equivalent: Approximately $93,600+ based on a standard 40-hour workweek.

• Medical: Full medical benefits offered 

• Schedule: Generally Monday through Friday, with flexibility during the summer months.

• Overtime: Potential for additional hours.

• Position: Full-time, year-round, live-out.
